Suzanne Popp, D.D.S.
Dr. Suzanne Popp graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1987. She has been helping Coronado and San Diego residents pursue their dental dreams since then. She bought her current practice from Dr. Joseph Drazek in 1990.
She is a Fellow in the following organizations: Pierre Fauchard, Dentistry International Academy, Academy of Osteointegration, and the International congress of Oral Implantology. She is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute, a premier training center for cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. She has taken nearly every course offered. She takes many continuing education courses every year, many more than required.
Some of her hobbies include travel, golf, gardening, metal sculpting and kayaking. She loves cooking and has written two cookbooks.
Dr. Popp is active in her Rotary Club. She is a past president of the club and was the first female president. Other community endeavors include being a Board Member of the Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of Coronado Roundtable, Treasurer of Crown Investors and a PEO member.
Philanthropics that Dr. Popp supports are Rotary Club of Coronado, Coronado Sharp Hospital, Lamb’s Players Theater, Coronado Schools Foundation, Jandy Strong Foundation (jandystrong.com), Willies Wildlife Zoo, and she is the founder of the “Sue Project”; a fundraising group which raises money for underprivileged women providing reusable sanitary napkins in Africa.
Dr. Popp’s daughter, Natalie Bailey, graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry in May 2018 and has since joined the practice. Her son, George Bailey, graduated from the University of Wisconsin in May 2017 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and currently works in San Diego for Olympus Controls as an Applications Engineer. Dr. Popp lives in Coronado with her beautiful Irish Setter, Shillelagh.
